Microsoft invested 280 million U.S. dollars in new research and development center in China

Netease technology - May 6 news, Microsoft further increase the size of its investment in China, Microsoft China R & D Group held today in Beijing's Zhongguancun Group headquarters building of stone laying ceremony. Microsoft China R & D Group headquarters building located in Zhongguancun core business district of Zhongguancun Plaza, the total construction investment over 280 million U.S. dollars, covering 11,600 square meters, built to accommodate 5,000 employees.

Microsoft China R & D Group headquarters building in the park will be built in two buildings, the south building 80 meters high, 18-floor, four-story underground; North Tower, 65 meters high, 15-floor building, four storeys underground. Two of the three-storey building will be connected through air corridor. Two buildings total construction area of about 150,000 square meters, built to accommodate 5,000 employees. The headquarters building construction investment over 280 million U.S. dollars, is expected to be completed in 2010.
